Family Engagement Center Hours and Location

Rita Segers, our Parent Center Liason (POL), is available to help you find resources, navigate the Parent Portal, connect with teachers and learn about ways you can help your child at home. Please contact Ms. Segers at 678-903-3400 or at rita.segers@gcpsk12.org.

Our Family Engagement Center also provides parents an opportunity to check out instructional materials, use computer and printing resources and meet with Teachers and Staff members.

What is the Family Engagement Center?

The Family Engagement Center is here to support parents and families with resources to help children succeed at home and in school. Throughout the day, certified staff are available to answer questions, guide parents through resources, and provide support. Research shows that when families and schools work together, students thrive academically and socially. Our mission is to strengthen family involvement and provide tools that directly impact each child’s learning and growth.

• Parent workshops, English classes, and nutrition classes
